Balloons by Rodrigo Lima and Luiz Paulo Oliveira

Let a child choose a page in Balloons by Rodrigo Lima and Luiz Paulo Oliveira, then watch as their imagined balloon animal becomes the focus of a playful mentalism routine. The magician appears to know the choice—but gets it wrong before correcting the prediction with a balloon transformation.

• Child-led participation: A child chooses a page and visualizes its balloon animal, making them part of the mystery.
• Colorful picture book: Drawings include a puppy, snake, crab, monkey, and more.
• Comic finale: The magician’s apparent prediction mistake leads into the correction and transformation.
• Memorable keepsake: The balloon can be given to the child as a souvenir.

Designed as a children’s mentalism act, Balloons brings visual fun and audience participation to a performance, with a moment that can delight both children and adults.
