Bermuda Triangle by Quique Marduk

Turn a Bermuda Triangle story into a visual mystery for your close-up or parlor performance. Your audience watches a tiny boat vanish, reappear, and transform into sand as the tale reaches its finish.

Created by Bob Friedhoffer and published in Invocation magazine in 1975, this effect is presented by Quique Marduk with Friedhoffer’s permission. Frame it as a small “laboratory” experiment and let the boat’s disappearance bring your story to a memorable close.

• Complete performance set: Includes bowls, a plastic boat, and paper for 40 performances.
• Downloadable video: Offers different ideas for presenting the effect.
• Simple supplies: Use regular salt and cold or warm water.
• Refill papers: Additional packs provide materials for 40 more performances.

It gives you a compact visual story to add to a close-up or parlor set, with a mysterious ending your audience can watch unfold.
