Bring the eerie, playful world of Chinese hopping vampire stories to your card table with Midnight Geung Si Playing Cards by HypieLab. Designed by Sin Yee Lam, the deck draws on Hong Kong horror-comedy-action cinema, myths, urban legends, and Ming- and Qing-era settings, with manga-inspired characters.
- Custom card faces: Fully custom pips and court cards give the deck its own distinct visual style.
- Symbolic card back: A talisman, wooden talisman sword, and central yin-yang symbol form a composition inspired by sealing a vampire in its coffin.
- Detailed tuck case: The premium German Gmund paper stock case is foiled, letterpressed, and embossed.
- U.S. Playing Card Company printing: The cards are printed in the USA.
- Part one of a two-deck series: This deck introduces the series’ Eastern vampire theme, set alongside a planned contrast with Western vampires.
With its blend of folklore, cinematic nostalgia, and custom card artwork, Midnight Geung Si adds a distinctive theme to a playing-card collection or a card session with friends.
