Mortalis Machina Iron Standard Edition Playing Cards

Bring a touch of mechanical wonder to your card table with Mortalis Machina Iron Standard Edition Playing Cards. Designed by The Paper Gear Company, this steampunk-inspired deck pairs detailed card artwork with a compact paper gear box that moves as you open it.

Look closely and you’ll find Victorian, Baroque, Gothic, and dark fantasy influences woven through the court cards, jokers, and custom pips. The Iron Standard Edition keeps the cards ungilded, while the box gets a bronze metallic finish.

• Kinetic paper gear box: Gears shift and elements move when you open the box, creating a tactile moment of mechanical magic.
• Compact design: The intricate box is the size of a standard tuck box, so it fits neatly with your other decks.
• Character-rich artwork: Courts feature death messengers, queens, and reapers, while the two jokers depict an angel and a demon.
• Limited edition: The Iron edition is limited to 999 copies, with each gear box manually constructed.

Keep this deck close for card games, a distinctive addition to a playing-card collection, or a conversation-starting display piece. Opening the box gives you a small, satisfying moment of motion before the cards come out.
