Answer questions your audience never says aloud with Cartomancy by Luke Jermay, a mentalism book built around fortune telling with playing cards. Spectators think of questions, and you reveal striking details such as names, dates, and locations.
- A complete three-act show: The routine is structured as a 35-minute performance, with Q&A built in.
- Jermay’s word-for-word script: Follow the script he uses in performance as you shape the presentation.
- Playing cards on stage: The described show uses a deck of cards as its only onstage requirement.
- Practical performance conditions: The routine is described as requiring no preshow work, billets, written questions, secret assistants, or stooges.
- Book and audio included: The package contains a 61-page, 9 × 6-inch manuscript of 14,041 words and a 50-minute MP3 focused on giving open readings with playing cards.
Rather than a single trick, Cartomancy offers a substantial card-based mentalism presentation, with the script and reading discussion to help you build a complete audience experience. It’s a focused addition to a mentalist’s library when you want a full show centered on thought-of questions and playing cards.
