Dave Forrest's Chip Reader

Let a participant choose one of five different poker chips while your back is turned, then reveal the exact chip they’re thinking of. Dave Forrest’s Chip Reader creates the experience of mind reading with a simple, direct presentation.

• Five ceramic chips: The custom-designed, professional-grade poker chips give your participant five distinct choices.
• Free selection: The participant chooses a chip and holds it tightly in their hand.
• You can leave everything untouched: The participant keeps the small velvet bag, and you never need to touch the chips.
• No extra tools or written information: The effect uses only the five chips, with no peeks, forces, switches, apps, or writing.

Chip Reader is easy to do, yet gives you a strong moment of revelation for close-up performances. Turn back to your participant and name the chip they’re merely thinking about.
