Crystal Thief by Vernet - Trick

Give your audience a mystery to hold onto with Crystal Thief by Vernet. A small handkerchief is pushed through a transparent tube, then the wrapped tube is placed in a spectator’s hands. Later, the spectator unwraps it to discover the silk has vanished.

• Clear visual setup: The transparent tube lets the audience see the handkerchief before the surprise.
• Audience participation: A spectator holds the wrapped cylinder during the performance.
• Delayed reveal: The spectator can unwrap the cylinder later and find the silk gone.

That gap between the handkerchief going in and the final reveal gives your audience time to wonder what happened. Use the unwrapping as a memorable surprise later in your performance.
