Turn an ordinary sheet of paper into a sequence of funny stories and surprising reveals with Paper Folding Stories for Magicians by Devin Knight. This downloadable eBook gathers four paper-folding effects for performers, including routines designed to entertain children.

Key Features

• My Childhood Misadventures: Tell a humorous story for kids while folding one unprepared sheet of newspaper into items from the tale.
• St. Peter’s Gate: A paper-tearing effect ends with a surprising reveal, with a rhyme suited to secular performances.
• Poor Man’s Troublewit: Spin a story about a boy searching for a boat as 14 or more paper objects appear, ending with a Chinese junk boat.
• Origami Beach Ball: Finish a folding routine with a paper beach ball that inflates and can be tossed and played with.
• Learning materials: The 31-page PDF includes detailed directions for all four effects, systematic photos for Troublewit, and a performance video of that routine.

Use the effects in a kids’ show or keep them ready for the moment someone asks you to perform. With a piece of paper and these stories, you can offer a change of pace from card tricks.
