Deqode by David Jonathan and Kevin Aust

Turn an ordinary barcode or QR code into a prediction that matches a spectator’s free choice. With DEQODE by David Jonathan and Kevin Aust, a scan can reveal a thought-of item, playing card, movie, artist, and more.

• Free-choice predictions: Reveal a spectator’s named item through a Google result, or use the Amazon or Walmart apps.
• More than a dozen routines: Ideas include predictions in IMDb and Spotify, grocery and meal reveals, a color prediction, and an ACAAN effect.
• QR playing card: A specially printed Bicycle card has a camouflaged QR code that can reveal any freely named playing card.
• Phone compatibility: Works on iOS and Android; iPhone users need iOS 13 or later. Some routines can be performed entirely on a borrowed iPhone.
• Props and instruction: Includes custom-designed cards, a magazine page, UK and US grocery receipts, digital assets, templates, and over four hours of video instruction.

Set up takes a few minutes, and the wallet-friendly props make DEQODE a practical addition to your everyday carry. It also integrates with Hydra, Inject, and Synergy, and supports Lumen and Pitata electronic impression devices on iOS.
