Distorted Visions by The 1914 and Jack Curtis video DOWNLOAD

Build a close-up mentalism set around six direct, audience-focused effects with Distorted Visions, a video download by Jack Curtis of The 1914. Each effect is described as instantly resetting and designed for real-world performance. Jack teaches the routines, with mentalist Looch joining the explanations.

• Amnesic Transpo: Business cards and a pen frame a baffling demonstration of apparent amnesia.
• Extra Subliminal Persuasion: Five ESP cards reveal predictions that reflect your participant’s decisions.
• Floral Destiny: A freely named flower and a deck of playing cards explore fate and free will.
• Blank 2.0: A structured three-phase routine uses a freely named number and a deck of cards; it can also be performed in virtual shows.
• Law of Attraction and Silver Lining: The first uses business cards and a pen for a family-member revelation and synchronicity; the second builds from a coin challenge to a surprise finale and also suits virtual performances.

The video explanations cover performance timing and psychological enhancers. The download also includes essays on close-up approach techniques and predictions, a blooper reel, and a short discussion about playing cards.

Use Jack’s performances as inspiration for your own scripting, and add these routines to your close-up or virtual mentalism repertoire.
