Spectators Don't Exist by Jon Allen - Video DOWNLOAD

Turn a quiet table into an engaged audience with Spectators Don't Exist, a video download from professional magician Jon Allen. He performs for people in real-world settings, then analyzes what happened—without primed participants, rehearsals, or retakes.

Alongside practical advice for approaching a table, handling interruptions, and making routines more viewer-friendly, Allen shares six professional routines built around audience involvement.

• Ghost: A borrowed bill becomes animated inside a wineglass, even while someone else holds the glass.
• Coins Across: Learn Allen’s full routine and presentation of this classic effect for real-world performance.
• Rubber Band Trilogy: Explore three routines, including audience participation and a restoration around someone’s wrist.
• Cards: Get a direct, participatory Ambitious Card routine, The Destination Box, and a thought-of card appearing in a signed, sealed window envelope.
• Freddy’s Dead: Allen shares his work on Professor’s Nightmare, including a finish where a participant holds the ropes as they change length.

Allen draws on thousands of professional performances, with experience entertaining the general public, business leaders, royalty, and celebrities. Use his real-world examples to think through how you involve a whole group and create more engaged moments in your own close-up performances.
