Opening Minds by Colin Mcleod and Alakazam video DOWNLOAD

Build a mentalism set for the stage or close-up with Opening Minds, a four-video download featuring Colin McLeod. He teaches the thinking and techniques behind a range of contemporary effects designed to leave audiences wondering how you knew.

Use the stand-up material for group performances, or draw on the close-up routines for more personal moments of mind reading and prediction. The collection gives you a variety of plots to explore, from thought-of words to cards, drawings, banknotes, and numbers.

• Stand-up mentalism: Explore routines including a book test, chair test, audience-wide newspaper prediction, and ESP card prediction.
• Card and number revelations: Learn McLeod’s approaches to ACAAN, lottery-themed predictions, and revealing spectators’ chosen numbers.
• Close-up predictions: The routines include predicting information on billets and duplicating a spectator’s drawing.
• Banknote routines: Perform close-up effects built around identifying who holds a borrowed, folded banknote and revealing its serial number.
• Two-way mind reading: A playing-card routine has the spectator read the performer’s mind while the performer reads the spectator’s.
• Practical performance ideas: The four-video set covers stand-up and close-up material, with instruction on the methods, techniques, and thinking behind the effects.

Because this is a video download, you can study Colin McLeod’s approach and choose routines that suit your performing style. Add a prediction to a stage set or bring a focused mind-reading moment to your next close-up performance.
