Explore mentalism through the Spanish School of Magic with At The Table Live Lecture – Fernando Figueras, May 1st, 2019, a video download featuring performance and instruction. Figueras shares ideas from his professional repertoire, including audience dynamics, psychology, language, and systems of thinking.

• Audience dynamics: Odd Stacking uses a yes-and-no routine to explore interaction with spectators.
• One-ahead routines: Clip Ahead and Car Ahead examine different possibilities within the one-ahead principle.
• Card techniques: The lecture covers a full-deck false shuffle and a brief visual palming demonstration.
• Linguistic mentalism: Psychic Monte uses language in a fresh take on the Three Card Monte plot.
• Audience participation: Cara o Cruz is a playful routine built around the audience’s participation.

Alongside the routines, Figueras discusses hiding sleights with patter, creating the illusion of free choice, and mental misdirection. This digital lecture offers working performers and students of mentalism ideas to study and consider for their own performances.
