At The Table Live Lecture - John Archer October 1st 2014 video DOWNLOAD

Bring comedy and magic together with the At The Table Live Lecture featuring John Archer, a UK stand-up comedy magician and the first person to fool Penn & Teller on the UK series Penn & Teller: Fool Us. This October 1, 2014 video download covers stand-up, close-up, and audience-friendly magic, along with comedy writing and routine creation.

Archer shares a range of routines, from a comedy Bank Night that fooled Penn & Teller to card effects built around coincidence, prediction, and audience participation.

• Comedy magic: Explore “Blank Night” and “Komedy Killer,” a full 10-minute routine designed for close-up and stage.
• Mentalism: Learn about “Pushing the Envelope,” a thought-reading effect using one billet and one envelope, and “Streets,” a remote-viewing-style experience.
• Card routines: “Semi Open” presents a prediction of a named or selected card, while “The Laura Buxton Co-incidence” builds to a predicted final choice.
• Audience involvement: “DeJa 2” tests a couple’s compatibility, and “Zennerdoo” is a psychic experiment with matching card symbols.
• Performance insight: Archer discusses comedy writing, creating routines, and performing comedy.

Archer has also appeared on award-winning CBBC network shows and writes comedy for other UK shows. The trick list may change because this was a live event.
