Sharpie Evolutions by Mago Milo video DOWNLOAD

Turn an ordinary Sharpie into the focus of visual close-up magic with Sharpie Evolutions, a two-hour video download by Mago Milo (Andrés Milonás). You’ll see routines built around Sharpies, coins, caps, pencils and other objects, with performances and detailed explanations to help you study the material.

• Sharpie techniques — Learn different approaches to making a Sharpie appear or vanish, along with visual hand-to-hand transpositions.
• Transformations — Explore sequences that switch a Sharpie with a coin, or with a pencil or similar object.
• Coin routines — Study a five-phase Sharpie-and-coin routine, a one-hand transformation sequence, and a three-phase routine involving a pen cap, coin and mouth.
• Performance examples — Each routine includes a camera performance, spoken explanation, live audience performance and slow-motion footage from an exposed angle.
• Presentation guidance — Milo shares advice for performing the routines, ideas for using other objects, and theory about choosing a performance persona.

The download also features a three-minute live gala performance using Sharpies and a coin, plus Milo’s introduction to the influences behind his work. Explanations are in English; the theory is in Spanish with English subtitles.

Some material is designed for dedicated sleight-of-hand practice, including the one-hand Sharpie-and-coin transformations. Use the ideas as a starting point for shaping a routine that suits your own style.
