Magic in a Matchbox by Joel Anthony

Make a matchbox and a few metal washers the focus of an impossible close-up moment with Magic in a Matchbox by Joel Anthony. Your audience sees solid washers placed inside the box, then pass visibly through it and into your hand. Familiar props give this matchbox magic a nostalgic feel while the effect delivers a startling surprise.

• Visual penetration: Washers apparently pass through the matchbox and arrive in your hand.
• Custom utility device: The specially designed matchbox supports penetrations, vanishes, and transpositions beyond what an ordinary box can do.
• Integrated reveals: Hidden reveals in the design can complement card, coin, or mentalism effects.
• Routine and techniques: Joel teaches a ready-to-perform routine and techniques for developing your own effects.
• Close-up format: The coin-box-style routine is described as almost self-working.

Bring it out for close-up performances when you want everyday objects to create a moment of wonder. Its matchbox-and-washer presentation can also add a fresh utility prop to card, coin, or mentalism routines.
