Moments by Troy Hooser, Joshua Jay, and Vanishing Inc.

Build a more complete coin magic performance with Moments, a book of routines and sleights by Troy Hooser, Joshua Jay, and Vanishing Inc. Instead of focusing only on short effects, it explores longer sequences designed to form themed acts.

Much of the material is performed seated in a classical style. If you already know Hooser’s earlier work, this collection offers a different setting and structure for his visual, whimsical approach to coin magic.

• Themed acts: Five acts bring several routines or tricks together in a planned sequence.
• Routines and sleights: Explore material created by coin magic performer Troy Hooser.
• Seated performances: Much of the material uses a seated, classical style.
• Hardcover format: The 135-page book includes black-and-white illustrations.

Written by Joshua Jay, Moments documents a new development in Hooser’s work, a decade after his first collection, Destroyers. It gives coin magicians material to explore when shaping a longer, more cohesive performance.
