Created in collaboration with Artisan Coin and Nathan Kranzo, the effect is inspired by a routine in Martin Gardner’s The Encyclopedia of Impromptu Magic. A bonus performance script by Balala Zheng offers natural motivation for the routine, including a justification for using a Half Dollar outside the U.S.
