The Papilio Experiment by Dead Rebel

Give your audience a Victorian-era story of psychic research, shared visions, and a picture card that takes center stage. The Papilio Experiment by Dead Rebel turns that premise into a self-contained, self-working mentalism routine with atmospheric props and an enchanting presentation.

• Story-led presentation: Introduce Dr. Nevin, a researcher whose tests uncovered something the genuine psychics had in common.
• Audience involvement: A packet of Victorian-style picture cards is mixed before the participants are led to one particular image.
• Self-contained and self-working: The routine is designed as a complete effect.
• Props included: The set contains a presentation box, vintage-style cigarette case, Dr. Nevin business card, picture cards, and prediction card.
• Video instruction: Liam Montier teaches the routine in the included video instructions.

The Victorian details give you a distinctive way to frame a mentalism performance, while Dr. Nevin’s unsettling research provides a story your audience can follow. Use the props and presentation to make this mysterious experiment a memorable moment in your magic set.
