Quantum Aperture by Calen Morelli

Show your audience a playing card with a large, clearly visible hole—and let them watch as the hole visibly shifts while the card rests on your wallet or phone. Lift the card, and the hole is still there for everyone to see.

• Openly visible movement: The hole remains in view as it moves, without your fingers or hand covering it.
• Direct visual magic: The card and hole stay in the audience’s sight throughout the effect.
• Repeatable: Perform the visual change again right away.
• Hand-built card: Each Quantum Aperture by Calen Morelli is made in Portland, Oregon, using Bicycle red Rider Back cards.
• Care with regular use: Replace the Quantum Aperture card every 2–3 months with consistent daily use to maintain its deceptive performance.

Quantum Aperture includes an instructional video, and no sleight of hand is required. The creator recommends practicing daily for one week before performing it for an audience.

Bring this unusual close-up visual effect to a casual gathering or a magic set, using your wallet or phone as the place to set the card.
