Ron Bauer Series: #22 Jim Bergstrom's Hat Trick

Turn a flurry of colorful tissue into a comedy moment that leaves your audience looking at a lady’s hat transformed with a five-color floral design. Ron Bauer’s Jim Bergstrom’s Hat Trick is a lively take on “Torn Tissue Papers to Hat,” written for adult close-up and stand-up audiences. It’s PG, but not intended as a kids’ trick.

• Adult comedy effect: Bring a fast-paced sequence of gags and bits of business to your close-up or stand-up performance.
• Performance script: Follow the detailed instructions and complete annotated script, including material Jim Bergstrom used in thousands of shows.
• Illustrated booklet: Explore more than 30 pages, over 30 line-art illustrations, 65 full-color illustrations in a removable center section, and a couple of color photos.
• Additional supplies: The routine uses art tissue, glue sticks, and an inexpensive seamstress’ tape measure.

The five-color floral finish gives the routine a visual payoff, while the comedy keeps the focus on entertaining your adult audience. Use the script and illustrations to shape a distinctive feature for your close-up or stand-up set.
