SWIPER by Matthew Wright

Bring a familiar swipe-left, swipe-right idea to a baffling card trick your audience can take part in. In Swiper, Matthew Wright gives an “Out of This World”-inspired routine a modern dating-app theme, then adds a “perfect match” kicker ending.

The swipe premise gives the presentation an instantly recognizable hook for today’s audiences. It’s a fun choice for adding an interactive, topical routine to your magic set.

• Interactive card magic: The routine draws on the familiar language of dating apps and is designed to engage your audience.
• Surprise ending: A spectator finds the “perfect match,” giving the routine an extra moment of astonishment.
• Easy handling: The handling uses no sleight of hand or counting, and there’s no need to stop halfway to change the dealing procedure.
• Complete deck: Includes 26 male cards—13 match and 13 no match—and 26 female cards—14 match and 12 no match—plus two “perfect match” cards.
• Instruction included: A downloadable tutorial covers Matthew Wright’s handling and routine.
• All skill levels: Swiper is suitable for performers of all skill levels.

Use its modern theme to bring a fresh premise to your next performance, with a memorable ending that leaves the idea of a “perfect match” hanging in the air.
