The Hornet (Gimmicks and Online Instructions) by Nicholas Lawrence - Trick

Make a small object visibly vanish, appear, restore, transpose or teleport while showing your hands completely empty. The Hornet by Nicholas Lawrence is a visual magic trick for coins, keys, torn card corners, gum and other small objects.

Use it to create surprising moments in person or capture striking magic for social media. Two gimmicks offer different setup options, so you can choose a performing style that suits you.

• Two handmade gimmicks: Nicholas Lawrence makes each set, with durable gimmicks designed to last for years.
• Multiple visual effects: The gimmicks can be used to vanish, appear, restore, transpose or teleport small objects.
• Three taught routines: Coin Fly, The Flash and ABC Gum demonstrate effects with a coin, a signed card corner and a piece of gum.
• Clean endings: In Coin Fly, the coin can be examined before and after; in The Flash, the card can be examined before and after. Neither routine uses a switch.
• Included materials and instruction: The box contains two Hornet gimmicks, additional materials and a 30-minute tutorial.

The Hornet can be set up and used in different ways, and the product description notes that performance has some restrictions. It uses no sleeves, reels, threads or fragile materials. Add visual surprises to your existing magic or build a routine around objects such as a soda pull tab or candy.
