The Red Envelope by David Sousa and Luis De Matos - DVD

Bring a striking sequence of visual magic to the stage with The Red Envelope, David Sousa’s award-winning silent act, taught with Luis De Matos. A red envelope appears, transforms and vanishes as part of a routine featuring productions, card magic and other visual moments.

This DVD tutorial gives you David’s techniques to study and adapt for your own act. It also explores ingenious systems you can apply when developing productions, vanishes and transformations of your own.

• Stage-ready inspiration: Learn from an act that inspired a generation of world-class manipulators and champions.
• Visual effects: The routines include a ball to scarf, cane production, card to confetti, interlock card production and card fans to envelope.
• More transformations: Learn a torn-and-restored jumbo card, along with envelope productions and transformations.
• DVD tutorial: The English-language instruction runs 1 hour and 35 minutes.
• Included extra: The DVD comes with an Extra Thin Deck of Manipulation Cards.

David Sousa’s work led to his appointment as Honorary Professor at the Academy of Magical Arts in South Korea. Study the act’s visual approach, then use the techniques as a springboard for shaping your own stage magic.
