Bets in Show by John Guastaferro

Let your audience cut and deal the cards while you appear to leave the magic to chance. In Bets in Show, John Guastaferro turns their selections into a casino-themed card reveal, ending with a striking transformation of the deck.

You shuffle the deck, then spectators make several cuts and uncover four cards. The cards match the casino chips, and each matching chip names the card on its reverse. A fifth chip has a blank back, leading into the final reveal: every card in the deck is blank except for the four selections.

• Audience handles the cards: Spectators do the cutting, dealing, and handling, while you barely touch the deck.
• Clean finish: The routine ends with no trick cards, sleight of hand, or deck switch.
• Custom props: Includes a specially printed deck, a leather coin wallet, and five custom-designed poker chips.
• Video instruction: John Guastaferro teaches the routine and explains what you need to start performing it.

Built as a powerful closer, Bets in Show gives you a memorable finale shaped by your spectators’ choices. Bring the casino chips out for a card routine that ends with an unexpected deck-wide reveal.
