Royle's Commercial Close-Up Magic Card Trick Routine by Jonathan Royle Mixed Media DOWNLOAD

Turn a small group of playing cards into a fast-moving close-up routine packed with visual surprises. In Jonathan Royle’s three-minute sequence, red and black cards change places, cards transform, and a spectator’s cards mysteriously switch places with yours.

Designed for close-up performance, this audience-tested routine has been part of Royle’s professional work since 1989. Its compact card set can be kept ready in a shirt pocket, making it a practical option for table-hopping or an impromptu request for card magic.

• Multiple visual effects: Spot cards transform into the four Jacks, Queens, Kings, or Aces—your choice.
• Audience participation: Two cards held by a spectator appear to trade places with two in your hand.
• Fast-paced sequence: The effects build into a logical routine of about three minutes.
• Compact card set: The routine appears to use eight cards, though it actually uses nine.
• Mixed-media instruction: The digital download includes four videos totaling 32 minutes, a PDF, and 85 full-color photographs.

Royle blends several phases of card magic into one connected performance, with cards turning face up and face down in increasingly surprising ways. Add this focused routine to your close-up repertoire when you want a memorable sequence built around just a few cards.
