Industrial Revelation (Gimmicks and Online Instructions) by Jamie D. Grant - Trick

Make a playing card tuck box the setting for an impossible close-up moment: a quarter or knife goes through the box, then you open it and reveal a solid steel block instead of a deck of cards. Industrial Revelation by Jamie D. Grant gives you a startling opener or a memorable way to establish credibility.

• Unexpected reveal: The box holds a solid steel block rather than the cards your audience expects.
• Close-up illusion: Perform the visual penetration with a quarter or knife and a playing card tuck box.
• Accessible handling: The effect is described as essentially self-working, with no complicated switches, steals, or sleight of hand required.
• Inspection-ready gimmick: Brush steel and a secure mechanism help it withstand audience inspection.
• Reissued classic: Vanishing Inc. worked with Jamie D. Grant to bring back this improved version of the effect.

Use it to grab attention at close range and give spectators a puzzling image to remember long after the box is opened.
