Notion of Motion by Angelo Carbone

Let a spectator name any card, then make that card rise on command. Angelo Carbone’s Notion of Motion brings a striking rising-card moment to your close-up magic, with a deck that fits in your shirt pocket.

You can show both sides of the cards and the inside of the box before and after the effect. The card is freely named, giving your audience a clear, direct mystery to follow.

• Named-card rise: The spectator names any card, and you make it rise on command.
• Clear displays: Show both sides of the cards and the inside of the box before and after the effect.
• No listed methods: The effect uses no forces, equivoque, magnets, threads, or electronics.
• Shirt-pocket size: Carry the gimmicked deck with you for close-up performances.
• Two handlings taught: The tutorial covers Carbone’s original handling and Joshua Jay’s modified, easier handling.
• Bicycle Mandolin cards: The gimmicked deck is handcrafted from premium red Bicycle Mandolin cards.

With a freely named card and a visual rise, Notion of Motion gives you a memorable moment of impossible magic in a compact format.
