Universal Monsters Collection (Hunchback of Notre Dame) by Josh Zandman

Turn a freely chosen book page into a moment of impossible-seeming knowledge with Universal Monsters Collection (Hunchback of Notre Dame) by Josh Zandman. Hunchback offers several book-test routines on its own, or can be combined with the collection’s Frankenstein and Dracula books.

Use it for close-up or audience-participation performances, from revealing a word to building a routine around several spectators’ choices.

• Multi-Book Flashback: Learn the first word or up to a full sentence from a remembered page in another book.
• Super Flashback: Reveal the first word on any page without seeing it.
• Reverse Book Test: Name a word in Hunchback that appears on a spectator’s freely chosen page in any book.
• Tossed Out Book: Reveal words freely chosen by five spectators, or use two participants and describe the scene they imagine.
• Pegasus Page: Perform a built-in version of this classic effect in your spectator’s hands from beginning to end.

With routines that work separately or together with Frankenstein and Dracula, Hunchback gives you different ways to shape a book-test performance around your audience. Let a spectator hold the book for the Pegasus Page finale.
