VARIATIONS by Boris Wild - Book

Build a card-magic set around memorable revelations, impossible choices, and visual changes with Variations by Boris Wild. This English-language book presents seven detailed routines inspired by earlier magicians’ effects, with personal variations focused on creating a strong audience impact.

• Seven card routines: Explore “Zoom 9,” a borrowed-deck routine for live performance or Zoom, and “ARCAAN,” an Any Card At Any Number effect.
• More impossible revelations: “Any Ambitious Card At Any Number” brings a chosen card to a freely named position, while “Impossible Double Divination” reveals two cards selected by separate spectators.
• Visual card magic: “Predicolor,” “InvisiQuiz,” and “Color Changing Chicago” feature predictions, a vanished-and-reappearing selection, and changing card colors.
• Ideas to make the routines your own: Most routines use an ordinary deck, which can be borrowed, and explanations include extra variations in presentation, ideas, and techniques.
• Illustrated softcover: The color book is in English, measures 5.5" x 8.5", and has 72 pages with nearly 80 photos.

A bonus technique, “The Cull,” rounds out the material. With detailed explanations and additional variations, this book gives you material to study, adapt, and bring into your own card-magic performances.
